CrossFit: Fitness for Lifelong Wellness
Course Description:
This CrossFit course is grounded in the principles of "constantly varied, high-intensity, and functional movement." Using the CrossFit and CrossFit Kids training guides, students will delve into the definition of fitness, master foundational movements, explore basic nutrition, and learn effective programming and scaling of workouts. Emphasis is placed on neuroendocrine response, power development, cross-training, and successful diet strategies. The course integrates theory with practical skills, enabling participants to embody and share the holistic CrossFit approach to fitness. The instructor will have a CrossFit Level 1 or higher trainer certification.
