Scholarships and Financial Aid

HJUHSD College and Career Center staff are available to help students with state and federal financial aid options and applications as well as local, state and national Scholarships. Explore the resources below and talk to your school College and Career Center or School Counselor for more information.

Workshops are held throughout the year to assist students and parents with filling out their FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) or CADAA (California Dream Act Application).  Applications to the FAFSA and CADAA can be launched using the CaliforniaColleges.edu Platform.  All HJUHSD students have a CaliforniaColleges.edu account and are given instructions on how to use it each year.

We used "Going Merry" to host our Local Scholarship Program for the class of 2026.  Students were able to apply to over 90 scholarships that are sponsored by many of our local organizations, along with getting access to thousands of state and national scholarships such as the Gates Millennium and Coca-Cola Scholarships. Starting April of 2026, Going Merry will be going off line. We are sad to see them go, but we will be looking for a new way to host all of our scholarships.

If you are a scholarship donor, wishing to report your winners, click on the + next to the "Scholarship Donor Information" tab below.  You will find the JotForm to report your winners to the HJUHSD Scholarship Coordinators.

Thanks for all your support!
