    Cold Season

It's 2020, but there is still no cure for the common cold.   The following two-pronged approach can greatly reduce your risk of getting a cold.

    1.  Wash your hands with soap and water.   Make a habit of washing your hands often, not just after you use the restroom.   Anytime you are touching door knobs, handles, shopping carts, etc., especially in public places, you should wash your hands afterwards.   For handwashing to be effective you need to wash and lather for 20 seconds.   To time it, sing the Happy Birthday song to yourself twice through while you wash.

    2. Don't touch your face when your hands are unwashed.  The cold virus enter your body through your eyes, nose and mouth.

Many people start the New Year with resolutions of what they want to change and improve.   But take a few minutes to write down your personal and professional accomplishments from 2019.   We are often so focused on what we need to improve, we forget to celebrate those things we have mastered.
