Principal's Message
-
Thank you for taking the opportunity to learn more about our school and programs. Adult education has been an integral part of our community since 1930.
Our vision is to provide educational opportunities and services which address the unique needs of each individual by offering academic and career-oriented classes, teaching the skills necessary to enhance life and participate effectively within the community and family. To live out this vision, Hanford Adult School provides strong academic and vocational education programs.
To ensure that our students reach their full potential, we provide a variety of courses to meet the diverse needs of the community: English as a Second Language (ESL), High School Diploma (HSD) classes leading to a diploma, or High School Equivalency (HSE) classes in preparation for a GED. We also offer two Career Technical Education courses in the areas of welding and Certified Nursing Assistant.
If you are seeking a school where the focus is individualized learning in small class settings, provided by knowledgeable, supportive teachers, in a safe and secure environment, then you will want to attend Hanford Adult School. Our classes are available both days and evenings throughout the school year, with both seat time and independent study options available. Please check our Facebook page or website for ongoing updates regarding enrollment opportunities.
It is a privilege to be part of this learning community dedicated to serving students. Our priority is helping you reach your educational, career, and personal goalsHeather Keran
