    Concurrent Enrollment at COS or WHC

    What Do I Do?

    Juniors and below - In order for you to take classes at College of the Sequoias or West Hills College please follow steps below: 

    Directions for College of the Sequoias: 

    #1.  You will need to complete an ONLINE APPLICATION. You can access the Colleges application via the CaliforniaColleges.edu program by doing the following:  

    • Log into californiacolleges.edu
    • Go to - College (top of page)
    • Select - California Community Colleges Application
    • Select Community College from drop down list
    • Launch
    • Create an Account
    After creating your account..

    #2. You will need to download, fill out and digitally sign the correct PDF's to get permission from Sierra Pacific to take the class.  The forms are available by clicking on the link below.  That link will take you to the Google Folder.  You will then download and save the permission forms (The HJUHSD form and the College form). Once you fill out and sign the forms and have your parents sign the forms, you will need to email it to your counselor for approval. 

    #3.  Email or bring in the forms to your counselor for approval.  Once they have given their approval to take the class or classes, they will email the form back to you with their signatures.

    #4. You will then email ONLY the College Concurrent Enrollment/Dual Enrollment form to the COS rep and they will use the form to add a code so you do not get charged for the class and then they will enroll you in the class.  You will then be contacting the rep for any follow up that you may need.

    Concurrent and Dual Enrollment Forms

    Directions for West Hills College: 

    #1. Access the College application via the CaliforniaColleges.edu program by doing the following:

    • Create an Account

    #2 Login to: https://westhillscollege.com/lemoore/admissions/special-admission.php, which describes the steps involved in the dual enrollment request process, and has a link to the web-based dual enrollment form under step 3.

    This website includes video guides for students and parents. Parents must create an account with Dynamic Forms, a web-based form system, to approve their students application. The video guides cover this process.

    Because many of the concurrent course offerings have a prerequisite requirement, students must upload a copy of their unofficial high school transcript for WHC advisors to evaluate. Please contact  Sierra Pacifc's registrar, Mari Vega @mvega@hjuhsd.k12.ca.us, or your couselor.
