Mrs. Hess has been a counselor with HJUHSD since 2009. She joined the Hanford High School staff in 2015. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Intercultural Studies from Biola University in 2005. She graduated with her Masters Degree in Counseling and Student Services from CSU Fresno in 2009. Mrs. Hess is a Hanford High School alumni and is honored to have the opportunity to work with students from her hometown. 

After 10 years of teaching elementary school, Mrs. Haire joined Hanford High School as a school counselor in August of 2016. She graduated from Fresno Pacific University in 2012 with a Master of Arts in Education and a Pupil Personnel Services credential in School Counseling. She received her multiple subjects teaching credential from CSU Fresno in 2006 and her undergraduate degree in Political Science from UC Riverside in 2004. During her time at UCR, Mrs. Haire was a 4-year Divison I student-athlete. Though she is an alumna of Lemoore High School, Mrs. Haire vows to set aside her allegiance to the Tigers to provide the best support for all of her Pups.

Ms. Brum has been a HHS counselor since 2006. She is a graduate of Hanford High school and has enjoyed helping the students of HHS for the past 14 years. She attended San Diego State University graduating with a B.S. Degree in Child and Family Development. She then went on to attend CSU Fresno where she graduated with a Masters Degree in Counseling as well as her P.P.S. School Counseling credential.

Mrs. Lee has been a HHS counselor since 2007. She immigrated from Argentina where she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Philosophy.  She graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Master's Degree in School Counseling and a Pupil Personnel Services credential in school counseling. She speaks Spanish and enjoys working with high school students.

Michele Himes has been a school counselor since 2015. She currently serves at Hanford High as well as Hanford Online Charter.  She graduated from Fresno State with a Bachelors in Liberal Studies and then went on to obtain a Masters in School Counseling and received her PPS credential in 2015. She loves working with the students, families and staff at HJUHSD.
